Our Dam
River Acres White Duchess Grady
Born for companionship, trained for the field, bred to carry the line on. The Lord has been good to us with her. She embodies what the English Labrador stands for and is a testament to our training methods and lifestyle.
Reservations Open
Grady is bred to UKC CH Drakehaven's Crackin' Cold Ones MH WCX TKN — “Brew” — of Breezy Retrievers, Green Lake, Wisconsin. We anticipate an all yellow litter, home with their families at the end of December.
Secures your place in line and is credited against the purchase price. Should the litter not produce your pick, your deposit is returned in full.
Deposits are honored in the order received. You choose your puppy at six weeks, in that same order.
Collected here in Washington, NC at eight weeks. We are happy to entertain transportation for the right situation — please inquire if needed.
Pedigree
Every puppy in this litter descends from the dogs below. Titles and clearances are listed as they are recorded with the OFA and the registering body, and we are glad to send copies of any certificate on the chart to a serious inquiry.

Included With Every Puppy
Optional
Every puppy can go home already started. Please inquire about RA Private Training before your puppy is collected.

Everything in the Basic package, carried on into field training — steadiness, marking, water work and handling on a whistle.
The Kennel
River Acres is a household, not a facility. Our dogs live indoors, travel with us, and work the water. We raise one litter at a time so that every puppy is handled daily, introduced to people early, and accustomed to the ordinary noise of a family long before it goes home.
A good Labrador is not an accident. It is generations of decisions made carefully.
Application to Purchase
Puppies are placed by application. Complete this and we will reply by email, usually within a few days. It commits you to nothing.
